What are sublingual immunotherapy allergy drops?
Sublingual immunotherapy allergy drops provide a more convenient way to treat and cure allergies and allergic reactions without frequent office visits or painful injections. Sublingual immunotherapy treats the cause of allergies by delivering small doses of what a person is allergic to, which over time increases “immunity” or tolerance to the allergen and reduces the allergic symptoms. Unlike traditional allergy immunotherapy, which is given as shots, sublingual immunotherapy is given as drops under the tongue.
